I will be participating in this year's AIDS Walk + Ride on May 1, 2010. Over the years I have come to know many people living with and working to fight HIV and AIDS. I have seen the devastating impact of HIV on many people's lives, but more importantly I have seen the positive effect that love, understanding and support can have on those living with HIV. 

That is why I am asking for your help. With the economy having taking a turn for the worse, the federal funding for HIV care in the United States has been drastically cut, and this is one way you can help those living with HIV and the agencies which support them.
