Hey Friends and Family,

As many of you know, I serve as Treasurer of the Alliance of AIDS Services - Carolina, (AAS-C) and have sat on their Board of Directors for nearly two years. It is one of the most well run local nonprofits that I know and serves an incredibly important mission. They help thousands of people living with AIDS in the Triangle area with food, emergency assistance, housing, pastoral care, etc, etc, etc, and their testing and prevention efforts work toward the day when the agency will no longer be needed.

I will be participating in this year's AIDS Walk + Ride on May 1, 2010 (the walk part, not the ride. Although if anyone is willing to individually pony up $1,000 or more, I would be incented to get on a bicycle). Please support this important cause with me by donating today or joining me in this walk on May 1st. 

The easiest way is by selecting the "Support" button above the progress meter and giving by credit card. However, an even better way to give (with no fundraising costs levied by this website) is to send a check (made out to "AAS-C") to me at home. I'll forward it on to the agency and see that my fundraising page gets credited. Then 100% of your money goes to fight AIDS.

Also, unless you have a strong preference to any of the other agencies, please designate 100% of your donation to AAS-C.


The money we raise will go to assist those living with and caring for those with HIV and AIDS. We need your support, so please do anything you can, join my team and walk with me, register as an individual or make a donation on my behalf.
